Hugh Mills Athletic Complex at UNG

The Hugh Mills athletic complex of University of North Georgia (UNG) is located in Gainesville, Georgia. The building was very outdated and was in need of some major updates to meet the needs of the UNG students, faculty, staff and community. The complete renovation includes a newly designed and improved men’s and women’s locker rooms. While the square footage of the locker rooms remained the same, the footprint changed. The locker rooms feature new floors and walls, mostly with Daltile tiles in light brown or tan with blue mosaic tile details. DCO Commercial Floors worked with the client to specify the products to create a more modern look for the facility, including the locker rooms, bathrooms, faculty offices, corridors, lobby, and study rooms. The renovation had to be completed in phases as the building was still in use.
