Hotel Forty Five

DCO Commercial Floors was proud to be a part of the first boutique hotel in Downtown Macon, Hotel Forty Five. The hotel, is located in an 11-story 100 year old skyscraper in the city’s downtown area. It has 94 guest rooms, a signature restaurant, a rooftop, a coffee bar, and a wine bar. The hotel’s name pays tribute to the 45-degree intersection of Cherry and First streets with Cotton Avenue.  It’s also a nod to Macon’s musical history and 45 rpm records.

Our Scope:

DCO’s scope included the installation of carpet, tile, hardwood, epoxy, and sports floor throughout the historic building renovation. The hotel displayed intricate patterns and designs with hardwood installed throughout most of level two. Hardwood was installed throughout most of Level 2. Hardwood was also installed on 45 degree herringbone inset at all guestroom elevator lobbies, as well as radiused tiled insets.

Overall, this project is a beautiful representation of our work in the hospitality sector.
