We would not be the company we are today without the tireless work ethic and vision of our late founder, Mike Blanton. Mike opened Dalton Carpet Outlet on July 5th, 1978, with just one other part-time employee. But that’s not to say that he was new to the flooring industry. Mike’s mother had worked as a bookkeeper for a hardwood flooring company and started her own in-home carpet business while Mike was still young, eventually opening her own carpet retail location. Mike worked for his mother’s company as a carpet installer during high school and college. Throughout the years, the company grew and prospered, joining the nationwide Carpet One cooperative and changing its name in 1988 to Dalton Carpet One. New storefronts were opened, one in Gainesville in 1979 and one in Eatonton in 2000. Throughout this time, Mike became heavily involved in the commercial side of the flooring enterprise and began to see a unique opportunity to shift direction toward a company that understood the unique rigors and demands of commercial flooring. This lead the company to create the DCO Commercial Floors division. Throughout his time working in the flooring industry, Mike was honored with numerous awards, including the Alan Greenberg Award in 2011. The Alan Greenberg Award is named for the co-founder and co-CEO of Carpet One’s parent company and is given each year to a member who most embodies the Carpet One Floor & Home company’s spirit and values. We can think of no one more deserving than our founder! Today, we continue to strive to meet Mike’s ideals for a company that’s built on trust and reputation as well as knowledge and experience.
Growing up surrounded by the flooring industry from an early age, Curtis launched his career into the world of flooring in 2007 as the Store Manager of Dalton Carpet One at the Eatonton location. In 2012, Curtis was promoted to General Manager in the Commercial Flooring division and is currently Vice President. He focuses on the Texas and Southeastern U.S. markets. He is an active member of the Floor Covering Installation Contractors Association (FCICA), currently serving on the Board of Directors and is Chairman of the Successors Committee. In addition to fulfilling these roles, Curtis serves as Chairman of the Technology Committee for Starnet Flooring. He is a recipient of the 2018 Young Leaders in Floor Covering for his leadership in the flooring industry. Curtis was born and raised in Athens, Georgia and attended the University of Georgia to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Management. He actively supports many worthwhile organizations, including Building for America’s Bravest and the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation. When he’s not working, Curtis is actively golfing, running and rooting for the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Braves.
Summer began working in the flooring industry in 2011, then brought her talents to DCO Commercial Floors in 2016 as a part of our estimating team. Her leadership capabilities and her ability to analyze needs and find solutions escalated her to the role of Lead Estimator. Summer’s creative and innovative thinking, her strong willingness to change for the better, and her culture of service to the customer have all contributed to her staggering success within the company, leading her to become the Director of Pre-Construction. In this role, she assumes all responsibilities associated with ensuring the success of all pre-construction activities from the conception stage of a project, to estimating, through the planning of the project scope. In her free time, Summer enjoys traveling and doing Crossfit.
Jesse started his extensive career in his father’s retail flooring and furniture store in Dubuque, Iowa. He worked in every position in the family business including the warehouse, delivery, sales, and as a subcontractor before moving to Georgia in 2003. He joined Dalton Carpet One in 2009 as their Installation Manager and was an integral part of the leadership team throughout DCO’s rapid growth overseeing the Installation Dept for both retail and commercial divisions. He transitioned to Operations Manager of the commercial division in 2015, focusing on building the project management department. He became the Vice President of DCO Commercial Floors in 2018, supporting all departments in the execution of successful projects and developing leaders on the operations side of the business. He is a CFI (Certified Floorcovering Installer) R1 & C1, FCICA CIM (Certified Installation Manager), and OSHA 30 certified. He lives in Watkinsville, Ga., with his wife Kimberly and two daughters. They enjoy raising them and watching them participate in soccer, basketball, and volleyball.
ReDonna comes from a very rich background in construction and flooring. Since graduating from Texas Tech with a BS in Interior Design in 1986, she has been in some type of commercial construction-related business, including interior design, flooring, furniture, and general remodeling. Before coming to DCOCF, she worked at a Texas flooring contractor for 14+ years, serving as a Senior Project Manager who handled sales and project management for large accounts. Here she was Top Sales/PM for multiple years. Prior to that position, she was Vice President of a large flooring company where she was charged with sales and operations. She has also owned and managed her own commercial furniture sales and installation company. Her wealth of experience is accompanied by a certification in DuPont Fiber and Maintenance and by her knowledge gained from being a Registered Interior Designer (RID). She served as President for the Alamo Executives Club and is a member and committee chair for the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).
ReDonna is married to Tony and together they have two children, Sean and Holly. In her free time, she serves as Team Mom and breeds English Springer Spaniels, having three of her own.
Luke joined DCOCF in 2012, bringing with him four years of experience in commercial flooring and 17 years of experience in the construction industry. He studied Architecture at Clemson from 1999 – 2001 before switching to Construction and currently holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Science & Management from Southern Polytechnic State University. He has gained lengthy experience in the senior living facilities, higher education, private schools, and country club market segments. Through his hard work, extensive experience, and perseverance to succeed, Luke has won several awards and recognitions, including Rookie Salesman of the Year in 2012 and the Presidents Club Award from 2013-2017. He is also OSHA 30 certified and a Georgia Residential Licensed Contractor. Luke has been married to LaDonna Canup since 2005 and together they have a son, Townsen. When he isn’t at DCO, Luke enjoys kayaking, running, and going to concerts. He is a member and Deacon at Hills Crossing Baptist Church where he is very involved. Luke heads up a construction oriented local mission team called Mighty Men and also runs a small local collection point for gathering used Christian literature for distribution to foreign nations through a ministry called Love Packages. Originally from Toccoa, Luke and his family now reside in Turnerville, Ga., where they root on both the Clemson Tigers and UGA Bulldogs. Jessica graduated from Kennesaw State University with a B.S. in Integrated Studies of Anthropology and Sociology. She began working in the flooring industry in 2013, and joined DCOCF in May of 2017 as a Project Manager. In August 2018, she moved into the role of Estimator. She has a personal connection tot he floor covering industry as her father owns and operates a flooring business. Jessica is married to her husband, Sean, and together they have a son, Colton. They enjoy hiking and exploring with their two dogs and in their free time they enjoy watching the Green Bay Packers play.
Russell came to DCOCF in May 2017 with 17 years of accounting and small business operations experience and three years of experience in public and corporate accounting. He spent one year in Construction Accounting before joining Dalton Carpet One as an Assistant Controller in May 2017. After two years in this role, he joined DCOCF as Controller in April 2019.
Born and raised in Athens, GA, it was no surprise he attended the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in General Business and Management. He and his wife, Kelly, and kids, William and Emmeline, still remain in the Athens area today. Sports are a passion of his, as he grew up on UGA football and Braves baseball.
Ben brings a wealth of flooring expertise to the DCO Commercial Floors family. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Georgia. He specializes in commercial flooring and carpet, as well as tile, hardwood, porcelain, stone and resilient tile. He’s also well-versed in sheet vinyl and shower systems. Ben has been the proud recipient of numerous awards and recognitions over the years, including Salesperson of the Year in 2007 and 2008 as well as being the recipient of the President’s Club Award every year from 2006-2017. He has also received the prestigious Top Gun: Best of the Best Award in 2016. Together with his wife Kim and their two children, Camden and Sawyer, Ben and his family are active members of Watkinsville First Baptist Church where he and his wife teach a children’s Sunday school class. They live in Oconee County and Ben prides himself on being extremely active in his children’s sporting activities, including coaching them in baseball, football and basketball. His hobbies include renovating and selling homes, breeding English bulldogs and goldendoodles, and supporting UGA in every sport.
Chris joined the DCO Commercial Floors team in 2011, bringing with him more than 25 years of real estate and construction experience. He holds a degree in real estate from the University of Georgia, and puts his considerable expertise to work at DCO Commercial Floors by concentrating on multi-family and fast-track single family construction. Chris has also been honored with many different awards, including the DCO Rookie of the Year award in 2011, the DCO President’s Club Award for 2012-2017, and the DCO Salesperson of the Year Award in 2013. Chris is married to Beth Saye and they have four children together: John, Katy, Brooks and Brantley. They also have four granddaughters: Nora, Magnolia, Eliza, and Brice. The family attends Antioch Christian Church.
Danny joined the Dalton Carpet Outlet team back in March of 1985 as an outside builder sales representative. Initially, his role was to develop new business relationships in the growing builder market throughout the Athens metro area. He proved to be exemplary in this role and then went on to become a Sales Manager, helping to train new representatives to further company growth and expansion. Danny returned to a fulltime sales role in 1989 and has won numerous awards and accolades since then, including Outside Salesperson of the Year for more than 10 years, Presidents Club awards for having a million dollars or more in sales and most recently, the Top Gun award for overall sales performance. To help with the expansion of the commercial side of DCO Commercial Floors, Danny became a senior account executive in 2008. His specialization includes multi-family developments and student housing across the nation. He has worked on projects across the country, including in Oregon, Texas, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, and Arizona. Danny hopes the next few years will be as fruitful as the last ten and he welcomes the opportunity to further grow and expand DCO Commercial Floors’ commercial flooring segment. In addition to spending time with his wife, Donna, and their six grandchildren, Danny enjoys traveling, working on classic cars, and watching NASCAR.
Danny began working in the window treatment industry as an installer at age sixteen. Except for a tw0-year period when he worked in the transportation industry, his career has been in window treatments. He joined DCO Commercial Window Treatments in July of 2016 as an Account Executive. Danny likes to work on vintage cars and motorcycles in his spare time. He also enjoys hunting, drawing, and painting. He strives to build strong relationships and provide a quality product and exceptional service to general contractors, property managers, and property owners.
Dave began working in the window treatment industry in 1984. He came to DCO Commercial Window Treatments in February of 2015. Dave has earned the President’s Club Award in 2016, which is a top sales achievement in the company. Dave and his wife, Denise, moved to the Atlanta area with their two children, Danny and Adrienne, in 1984. They have four grandchildren and are very involved in their church where Dave plays bass in the worship band and also works with the youth praise band.
Some people are a perfect fit when it comes to flooring – like our account executive David. Since graduating from Athens Tech in 1975 with a degree in Marketing and Management, David started his own flooring business in 1976. He then closed his business and joined the DCO Commercial Floors team in 2010, concentrating on the central and southern Georgia markets. He is an expert in both carpet and resilient flooring installation, and his son Ryan has also worked with us since 2005. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 40 years, Debbie, as well as their four grandchildren. He is also an avid lover of horses and golf.
Ezra began working in commercial sales for Dalton Carpet One in 1999 upon earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Forest Resources from the University of Georgia. Since then, Ezra has gained an expertise that is one of the most diverse in the industry. His efforts and talents have allowed him to work successfully in a variety of fields over the years, including healthcare, education, hospitality, and senior living. This variety of market segments, along with his dedication to the job, flawless service, and impeccable work ethic have allowed him to become one the most valuable and awarded members of our team. He has earned a place in the President’s Club each year since the club opened in 2001 for having a million dollars or more in sales. He has also been awarded with the Top Gun: Best of the Best Award for his exceptional performance since its inception in 2015. He is married to his wife, Sabrina, and together they have a daughter, Sophia. When he isn’t making a sale, Ezra enjoys fitness, basketball, tennis, golf, and traveling. Recent projects: Northeast GA Medical at Braselton (NGMC Braselton), Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre, Athens Hyatt, and New Valdosta High School
Jeffrey is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a BBA in Marketing. He began working in the flooring industry as a member of the DCO Commercial Floors team in 2007. Since then, he has been honored as a member of the President’s Club every year since 2014. He recently received a Top Gun award in 2015 and achieved his OSHA 30 certification. He specializes in attending to hospitality, higher education, healthcare, and corporate accounts. Jeffrey is originally from Athens, Georgia, but now lives in Atlanta. He spends his free time traveling and running.
Jeremy joined DCO Commercial Floors in February 2016 with five years of prior flooring experience under his belt. He currently holds an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Perimeter College, and is both FCICA and Procore Certified. Jeremy has worked in a wide range of industries, including hospitality, higher education, restaurant, healthcare, commercial property management, and senior living. All of these industries have provided him with a multi-faceted experience that is invaluable to understanding the different needs of occupational and commercial flooring. He and his wife Lindsey have three children together: Noah, Emma and Gavin. Don’t be surprised if in your spare time, you find Jeremy out on a field coaching ball, traveling, golfing or biking. He and his family attend the 12Stone Church. Jeremy is no stranger to the construction industry, having started in it in 2002. His introduction to the flooring industry came in 2007 when he joined DCO Commercial Floors as a commercial sales specialist and senior project manager. Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University in Industrial Distribution and Logistics. His areas of expertise within the company include military bases, higher education facilities, and dining halls. Jeremy has also obtained his OSHA 30 certification. Not content to rest on his educational achievements, Jeremy has also furthered his flooring education by completing Carpet One’s Installation Excellence Training. He has continued his studies by graduating from Mohawk University and receiving extensive training through Schluter and CTEF.
Joe has been with DCO for more than 20 years and in the flooring business for more than 35 years. He brings experience in all areas of the flooring industry including warehouse, buying, management, and sales. Joe’s current position makes him an expert in higher education, restaurants, healthcare, and industrial facilities. Joe has deservingly won numerous awards including Store of the Year, Outstanding Store Performance, and Salesperson of the Year. He has also received the Presidents Club Award two years in a row. Joe is married to Eva Pryor and they have two children, Justin and Leah. When not at the beach, Joe enjoys everything outdoors such as swimming, fishing and hunting. Originally from Virginia, Joe and Eva now reside in Pendergrass, Ga.
Matt will be coming to us after coming from GIO Tile as their Sales Manager for the Atlanta/Birmingham territory. Well versed, this upcoming year will mark his 23rd year in the commercial flooring business; he has previously served as a Distributor Representative, a Factory Representative and within Installation. Matt is very excited to join DCOCF as he has worked alongside sales staff in the past and now will be able to contribute to further successes with his experience and tenacity.
When Matt is not making it happen with DCO, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Cindy and their daughter, Layne.
Amon joined the DCOCF team in May of 2015.
Todd brings more than two decades of flooring experience to the team. In addition to holding his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 1983 from Southern Polytechnical Institute, Todd is also a licensed Georgia architect. He has been working in the flooring industry since 1996 and was brought in to DCO Commercial Floors in October of 2015.
Daniel has a background in project management. He has experience in the industrial division as an Assistant Project Manager working on Industrial Warehouses and Distribution Centers all over the state of GA. Daniel also acted as estimator for Interior Tenant Improvement projects. He enjoys spending time outdoors hunting and kayaking.
Kristina previously worked as a Sales Assistant/Project Manager for a Trade Show company out of Suwanee.
She loves to travel and explore new places. When not on the road she enjoys spending time with family and friends along with watching and playing sports. Kristina’s son, Tucker, keeps her very busy.
Corey comes to DCOCF with self-motivation, reliability, and a cheerful attitude – all qualities that lead to a successful member of our Estimating team. He learned all of these great qualities while working in residential home design and studying business at Kennesaw State University. When not contributing enormously to the team, he is enjoying time with his son playing baseball or simply being outside. He also likes a healthy lifestyle, so he spends time hiking, reading, and playing sports. His favorite teams to root for are the Atlanta Braves and the Texas A&M Aggies.
LaChrisha moved to Atlanta from Michigan in 2013. Her flooring career began in Atlanta, starting out an account manager for three years. She then moved to another flooring company and stayed there for two years before joining us at DCO Commercial Floors. LaChrisha has a done a little bit of everything, from estimating, purchasing, operations, and accounting.
Before coming to DCOCF, Sean worked for a small flooring company in Marietta, Ga. He started out doing warehouse and demo work, but eventually worked his way into Residential/Commercial sales and project management. He began his career with DCOCF in February of 2018 as a Site Superintendent. At the end of June 2018, he transitioned to an Assistant Project Manager role.
Sean is married to another DCOCF employee, Jessica Harrison. Together they have two children. His hobbies include rock climbing and backpacking/camping.
Meghan brings a wealth of experience to the forefront at DCO Commercial Floors. She began working in construction back in 2005 and joined the DCO Commercial Floors team in 2008. Prior to this time, she studied Business at Valdosta State University. Meghan’s areas of expertise include multi-family housing, corporate occupied lift installations, and the hospitality industry. She and her husband, Danny, as well as their two girls, Emma and June, love spending time outdoors and on the water and frequently spend time at the beach or at the lake on their boat.
Mary attended Appalachian State University where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. She joined the flooring industry in 2014 and brought her talents to DCOCF in fall of 2017. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband. Mary likes to participate in any activity that lets her be outside, like reading and exercising.
Jeff joined Dalton Carpet One in 2009 bringing with him 10 years of General and Operations Management experience in Lumber and Building Materials. Born in Athens, Jeff worked in the Savannah, St. Louis, Kansas City, Dallas, and Chicago markets, before returning home to the Athens area. Jeff worked as the Commercial, Retail, and Contract Scheduler with Dalton Carpet One until the establishment of DCO Commercial Floors. Jeff then moved into his role as Commercial Scheduler. In 2013, Jeff made the move to Project Management before finding his current position in Commercial Estimating. Jeff earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of South Carolina and his Masters of Science in Operations Management- Enterprise Integration from the University of Alabama. Jeff is presently enrolled at the University of Georgia seeking his EdD in Workforce Education, aspiring to teach Operations Management upon graduation. In his spare time, Jeff enjoys practicing Aikido, reading, and spending time in the outdoors with his family.
Chase joined the DCOCF team in February of 2016.
Doug has a BS in Interior Design from Florida State University. Doug began his career in the window treatment industry as a product representative for a manufacturer. He then moved into sales with two different window treatment contractors prior to joining DCO Commercial Window Treatments in February of 2014. In total, Doug has been in the window treatment industry for more than 35 years. In his spare time, Doug enjoys reading, boating, wood-working, gardening, and camping. He and his wife, Kitty, have two children, Mallory and Austin, and a grandson, Maddox.
Brent brings to DCOCF experience that ranges from residential construction and remodeling to working as a project manager and service technician in industrial water recycling and foundational waterproofing. He resides in Marietta with his daughter, June. They are involved in church and they like to vacation at the beach or to his lakeside cabin in Minnesota. In his free time, Brent likes to play hockey and work out.
Ryan began his career in the construction industry as a laborer for his father in the masonry field. By age 19, he was a job site superintendent while attending college at Georgia Tech to study architecture and mathematics. He worked in preconstruction for over 10 years in general contracting before transitioning to the project management roll. Ryan has worked in the flooring industry for 8 years as a project manager covering the southeast region. His experience spans several sectors such as education, sports and recreation, healthcare, hospitality, and corporate.
Ryan is the proud father of 3 kids, Shacari, Jordan, and Ryan II. He enjoys reading, watching sports and spending time with family. He is a volunteer coach for youth football & basketball in the Sandtown community in South Fulton, GA.
Arman comes to DCO with experience in Flooring Industry Project Management. He attended Valley Forge Military Academy and went on to serve in the United States Marine Corps. Arman likes to spend his free time boxing, playing basketball and traveling.
Brett has an extensive background in construction. He previously served as a Project Manager at Bayne Development and RG Williams Construction. His accomplishments involved managing various projects ranging from $25,000 to $4 Million which included big clients like CVS Pharmacy, Taco Bell, and QT. Brett is also OSHA Certified, GA Stormwater Level 1A Blue Card Certified, CPR, ProCore and Forklift Certified.
When Brett isn’t trying to get yet another Certification, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and playing sports to include Georgia Bulldogs, hunting, and fishing.
Alec is an Athens, Ga., native who graduated from Young Harris College with a degree in Business and Public Policy in 2015. He then worked Inside Sales for a plumbing manufacturer’s rep company out of Marietta before leaving to return to school. Alec spent two years at the University of Montana earning a degree in Sustainability Construction Technology and a certification in Green Building. He has been working off and on in residential remodeling since 2011 and is currently an NAHB Certified Green Professional. Alec currently resides in Duluth with his girlfriend, Sally, and his boxer, Herschel. When he isn’t working or spending time with family, he enjoys cooking, writing, woodworking and supporting Atlanta United.
Corbin has 10+ years’ experience in increasingly responsible roles within project management at a handful of companies ranging from Large & Small General Contractors to High-End Interior Subcontractors. His family has been in the construction/millwork fabrication industry since the 1950’s, and is continuing in the family tradition by forging a career for himself in the Commercial/Multi-Family segments of construction. Corbin has been a trusted asset for DCO since May 2019 as a Sr. Project Manager overseeing the management of projects nationwide alongside his team of Project Managers working under Corbin’s leadership. Corbin is an Atlanta, GA native and avid Atlanta Falcons & Atlanta Braves fan, but his college team is The University of Michigan due to family ties. He is happy to enjoy 2 years of marriage to his Wife, Donna, who is a Contract Law/Patent Law Paralegal.
Jonda was born in Alabama and has spent the last 30 years of her life in Texas, or traveling as a military spouse. She has an AAS in Construction Management and is also a licensed insurance agent. She comes to DCOCF with some flooring background, previously working in residential flooring from 2000-2004. Jonda is married to her husband of more than 25 years. They are proud parents to two kids, Kayla and Tristan. She is also a motorcycle enthusiast and says her most favorite thing to do is to travel cross country on her Softail Slim.
Michael joined the DCOCF team in January of 2007.
Doug Coombs Jr. is a Senior Project Manager for DCO Commercial Floors. With a diverse professional background in construction management, financial analysis, retail supply chain logistics management, lean-six sigma, operations and third-party management, Doug is familiar with a variety of management methods that drive productivity, quality, customer gratification and profitable results.
Before his time at DCO Commercial Floors, Doug worked at three Fortune 500 companies throughout the U.S. in various operational and executive management positions within retail supply chain and logistics. He also has experience working at commercial construction management firms. Doug has also worked as a business consultant and is a co-founder of a custom sports coaching, training and development organization.
Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in Management and Leadership from Judson University. He also earned Executive Management Program certifications from The Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University and The College of William & Mary Graduate School of Business. He is a certified Lean Six-Sigma Executive Green Belt and is also a Certified Installation Manager (CIM) through FCICA.
Carlos graduated from University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a minor in business. He has work experience doing internships with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and in construction.
He loves to travel and has spent time in Europe and Mexico. He also loves being outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, and taking his dog, Barley, to dog parks for games of fetch.
David got his bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia, Terry College of Business. He came to Dalton Carpet One in November 2016 as the Inventory Control Manager. This was his first job in the flooring industry, bringing in expertise in procurement and management. Since then, he has moved into his current role as Operations Manager over DCO Commercial Floors.
He is married with three children. He is a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and hiking.
Before working for DCO, Billy served as a flooring supervisor in charge of tile projects at Hartsfield international Airport. He was the lead mechanic with a tile company for 10 years, five of which were spent installing at Hartsfield, and a tile subcontractor for four years installing tile. He worked as a subcontractor for the residential division, Dalton Carpet One, in the mid 2000’s. His first role within DCO Commercial Floors began in January 2016 as a Site Super. He then moved into the role of Flooring Supervisor, and has most recently earned the role of Installation Manager. He says that he enjoys the work chemistry with his teammates, as they all work together to make successful installs. Billy is certified in ProCore (project management, managing crises, and superintendent). When not supervising installations, he enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife have three children, along with a grandchild. They love the great outdoors, fishing, hunting, and camping.
Jeremy is a seasoned flooring professional and has fully committed himself to his employer, his customers, and his coworkers. This commitment has earned Jeremy the respect of not only his customers, coworkers, and direct reports but also the installation crews that he manages. Jeremy has been an integral part of the successful flooring installations of some of the largest and most prestigious construction projects in the Southeastern United States over the last ten years. Jeremy is often requested by name by the project managers and superintendents of the projects his employer is associated with because of his flooring expertise. Jeremy’s commitment to excellence is shown in everything he does. Jeremy has a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the flooring business and is committed to continuing to grow. Jeremy has numerous advanced certifications relating to the flooring industry which include OSHA 30 Certification, MAPEI Advanced Moisture Management and Surface Preparation and Ardex Large format Installation. He is also a Certified Installation Manager (CIM) through FCICA
Jeremy has resided in Dallas, Georgia for the last 10 years and has two beautiful daughters, Zoe and Piper, who are the center of his universe.
Steve comes to us with an extensive background in both construction and flooring, but most currently served as the Installation Manager with Premier Contract Carpet. He comes with the tools of leadership, working hand in hand with sales, as well as being able to complete site evaluations.
Steve makes it a point to spend as much time with his family as possible. He and his wife Lorrie have 3 grown sons and 3 grandchildren. When he is not at work and spending time with his family, you can find Steve on the golf course.
Tom has been with DCOCF since 2012. Tom enjoys getting to work on different projects and likes that every day at work is different. He is OSHA 30 certified, completed OSHA Silica Training, proficient in Globally Harmonized Systems (GHS), and is certified in ICRI Moisture Testing. Tom is married with four children. He serves as the Mayor Protem of Newborn, Ga., and enjoys remodeling his 110-year-old home in his free time.
Raymond joined the DCOCF team in May of 2017.
Tiaan Schutte was born in Cape Town, South Africa, where he lived for nearly 32 years before coming to the states. Tiann is married to Letetia and they have two children, Sebastian and Mila. While living in South Africa, Tiaan was a professional Rugby player. He moved to the United States in 2002 and has had a varied career. Most recently, he worked with a large roofing contractor as a Superintendent over multiple projects. He joined the ranks of DCO Commercial Window Treatments in August of 2018 in the role of Project Manager. While not at work, Tiaan enjoys golfing, tennis, and spending time with his family.
Prior to DCO, Kari worked in the flooring industry as a Production Coordinator. She worked in the Builder division for a little over 3 years. Kari holds a B.A. from Mercer University in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Communication. In her spare time she enjoys reading, baking, and updating her food blog on Instagram. Kari has a 12 year old son and loves taking him to the movies.
Katy comes from a background working as a Project Accountant. She graduated from UGA in 2015 and holds a BBA in Economics. She also enjoys working as a creator and designer of her online jewelry boutique.
Lana started in the flooring industry as a receptionist in August 2015 with Dalton Carpet One, then transferred to the Purchasing Agent position in December 2015 before joining the DCOCF team as a Contract Administrator in September 2016. While she is not at work, Lana enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Taylor studied Business Management at Valdosta State University. She joined the DCOCF team in June of 2017 as an assistant contract administrator. In March of 2018, she moved into the role of Project Coordinator. Taylor and her husband, Evan, welcomed their baby girl in July of 2020. When she isn’t working, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family on Lake Hartwell.
Terri joined Dalton Carpet One in 2005 and worked in Order Entry and Purchasing before becoming the Merchandising Specialist in 2008. In May 2015, Terri made the move to the Commercial Division and is now a Commercial Contract Administrator. Originally from Atlanta, Terri and her family now reside in Winder. In her spare time, she likes to read, draw and vacation on the beach. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, and doing outdoor activities like riding, camping, and hiking.
Vicki joined DCO Commercial Floors in October 2016 as an Invoice Scheduler. She has experience in office management, construction and property development, and rental property management. She has one son, Zach. She enjoys history, music, cooking, and fitness. Taking day trips to the mountains and spending time outdoors is one of her favorite things to do.
Ashley came to work with DCO Commercial Window Treatments in 2015. She enjoys comedy clubs as well as traveling and helping out with her daughter’s (Neveah) travel softball team. Ashley is ambitious and driven to grow and improve. She is task-oriented and thrives on a challenge. She is married to Roger.
Amanda started her career with the company in June 2013 on the residential side of the business, Dalton Carpet One. She learned the ropes quickly then moved to DCOCF in Scheduling. After doing that for a while, she joined Dalton Carpet One again, working as the Merchandising Assistant until the summer of 2018. Amanda now serves as the Invoice Scheduler for DCOCF. She has two sons and resides in Athens, Ga. She is an excellent thrifter and enjoys exploring local estate sales. Amanda has worn many hats during her tenure here and we are proud to have her on the DCOCF team.
