ABAC Carlton Center
The recently renovated Carlton Center for Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College (ABAC) has undergone a two-year rehabilitation process to transform the fine art space. The new arts building will have practice space for a 100-plus member orchestra as well as a separate space for an 80-plus member vocal group in addition to the office, classroom, and recording areas. Applying the Architect’s vision to the floors by using 36 different sizes and colors of carpet tile presented unique challenges in this project. The DCO Commercial team worked diligently to estimate and accurately order to minimize potential waste. Creating a unique aesthetic was well worth the additional time and calculations required. In addition, the superior work of our site superintendent and installation crew resulted zero punch work required on the carpet and LVT. DCO was grateful for the opportunity to partner with Allstate Construction and Praxis 3 on this project.
