Moontower
The Moontower — a brand new University of Texas Austin luxury off-campus student housing project in the West Campus area of downtown Austin. The DCO Commercial Floors team in our Austin, TX office was responsible for all of the flooring and tile scopes for this project and our crews worked hard to install over 267,000 square feet of materials on both floors and walls. These materials included tile from Daltile, Emser, and Six Products, as well as LVT from IB Supply and Tuff Plank. Our project team did a remarkable job of overcoming challenges to meet the schedule for the Moontower. The owner had a new designer completely redesign all the common area materials for our scopes after going under contract and having shop drawings, submittals, & samples approved. So, our team actually worked from “inspiration images” to find products to match their specifications and deliver the finished vision.
