When Stephens County set out to renovate Liberty Elementary in Toccoa, Georgia, they reached out to Clarke County for advice on who to use as a flooring contractor. Clarke County gladly recommended who they used for all of their schools: DCO Commercial Floors. DCOCF worked with the general contractor to specify the products, choosing to go with reliable Tarkett products. The project was installed on a five-week timeline. A complete demolition of the existing floors and replacement in classrooms, the library, and front office involved moving books, furniture, computers, and other school equipment. Everything was put back in the original place, and because of DCOCF’s quality control process, DCOCF completed the project with a near-zero punch list. DCOCF impressed the school by completing the project well ahead of schedule, in only three weeks. Stephens County was so impressed that DCOCF set the standard of quality and project management for future flooring replacements in the county.
